  • Scott is a relational therapist who blends insight-oriented depth work with creative, values-driven behavioral strategies. Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Scott helps individuals explore the different “parts” of themselves, understand how past experiences shape current patterns, and cultivate clarity, compassion, and courage.

He works with clients to name what truly matters—then identify the barriers, beliefs, or burdens that keep them stuck. Scott is especially skilled at bridging evidence-based modalities with humor, and storytelling, making the work accessible, playful, and deeply personal. Whether it’s through cinema therapy, metaphor, mindfulness, or expressive writing, Scott creates a space where insight meets action and healing becomes a creative act.

He believes the therapeutic relationship is a powerful container for change, and he shows up with grounded honesty, deep attunement, and genuine curiosity. Scott is comfortable navigating both the tender and the tough stuff; he's not afraid of silence, awkwardness, grief, or existential dread (and he’s always down to talk about your weird niche interests, too).

  • Scott works primarily with adolescents, adults, navigating life transitions, identity formation, anxiety, and perfectionism. He has a strong background in supporting neurodivergent clients (including ADHD and Autism), clients with chronic shame or internalized self-criticism, and those working through people-pleasing, burnout, or grief.

He also has a special focus on working with athletes, creatives, and helpers—including therapists, coaches, and educators—who often struggle with performance pressure, emotional over-functioning, and self-neglect. He is deeply attuned to intersectional identities and frequently works with LGBTQIA+ clients, as well as individuals exploring spirituality, cultural expectations, and multigenerational family dynamics.

  • Scott lives at the intersection of creativity, movement, and meaning. A long-time athlete and Chicago native, he plays volleyball, climbs, hosts quadball tournaments, and dabbles in swing dancing, hip-hop, and reggaeton classes. He also enjoys going to the Bristol Renaissance Faire, rollerblading, and playing 16 inch softball during the summer.

When he’s not working or dancing, you might find him organizing pickup sports leagues, watching Avatar the Last Airbender, or daydreaming about his next travel adventure. He is passionate about integrating therapy and pop culture—think Pokémon, Nier, Stranger Things, or Star Wars—to help kids and teens make meaning of their experiences.

He’s constantly exploring how to live with more intention, integrity, and joy—and he invites others to do the same, one part at a time.
