Laura is a Licensed Social Worker who values creating a space of agency and collaboration between herself and her clients. She applies evidence-based behavioral therapy approaches to help teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, and/or depression. Laura places a strong emphasis on providing gender/LGBTQ+ affirming, culturally conscious, and sex-positive care. She is committed to creating a safe & inclusive space for clients to be able to show up authentically and feel understood.

Laura’s approach is rooted in behavioral therapy, with an emphasis on the evidence-based modalities of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She also pulls from a social justice, intersectional, and systemic framework.
Laura aims to empower clients by meeting them where they are at on their journey. She strives to maintain a compassionate therapeutic environment that fosters growth and healing. Laura is committed to providing clients with practical skills and tools they need to reclaim control and find freedom from anxiety.

Laura works with teens and adults who are navigating life with anxiety. She specializes in all subtypes of OCD, perinatal anxiety, phobias, health anxiety, depression, and self-esteem.
She has previously worked in residential treatment centers, hospital settings, and outpatient care.

Outside of work, Laura loves spending time with her cat while reading, playing video games, or bingeing TV shows. She also loves enjoying the outdoors, whether it be walking or running along the lakefront. Laura is passionate about building community and engaging in social advocacy work.
