  • Courtney specializes in supporting clients who feel stuck in patterns of over-control, including perfectionism, eating disorders, and OCD. She values creating a collaborative space where clients can explore new ways of relating to themselves and their communities that foster self-compassion, flexibility, and deeper connection. She grounds her practice in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and relational psychotherapy, and she also integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Radically-Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. She encourages clients to lean into uncertainty, loosen rigid patterns, and practice new ways of showing up in their relationships both in and out of the therapy space. She strives to bring openness, empathy, and curiosity into each session, offering a safe and supportive environment for clients to take steps toward their values and feel more connected to themselves and their communities.

Courtney is committed to anti-oppressive practice and decolonizing healing. She believes that therapy can be deeply transformative, and she knows that therapy is an individualistic endeavor in a world where people are shaped by their political, social, and cultural environment. She aims to help clients gain perspective on how their history, identities, and environment impact the ways in which they engage with the world and guides them through the process of creating a life that more closely aligns with their values, while acknowledging that systemic inequalities cannot be overcome through individual work alone. Courtney is committed to reflecting upon her white privilege and how her own identities impact her work as a therapist.

  • Courtney has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across the full continuum of care from inpatient and residential settings to PHP, IOP, and outpatient therapy. This background has prepared her to meet clients where they are and collaborate on treatment goals that feel both meaningful and achievable. She especially enjoys working with teens, transition-age youth, and young adults as they navigate identity development and a growing sense of self, as well as adults of all ages exploring ongoing questions of identity and values. She is also passionate about supporting parents as they navigate their children’s mental health concerns while reflecting on their own beliefs, values, and hopes for their family.

  • Outside of her work as a therapist, Courtney loves figure skating and can often be found challenging herself both artistically and athletically on the ice. She also loves spending time with her pet bunny, Cinnabun, who she spoils. In her free time, she is often listening to podcasts, reading books, or discovering new music.
